We are the last generation who will drive a car

Self driving cars are here.. they have been for a year or so. And they have proved themselves to be safer than humans in almost all situations. They can see better.. they have no blind spots.. they don't get bored.. they don't sleep at the wheel. They don't have to fight about whether to ask for directions or not.  See this video from Google to see the technology behind it..

 

Many car makers such as Volvo, Audi etc. as in the ad below are releasing self drive cars cautiously marketed as "drive assist" "safe driving" and so on this year. But be very clear that this is just a clever move till they eventually take away human driving - and that is not necessarily a bad thing.

We are the last generation to know what it means to defragment a hard drive. Or the sound of a modem connecting to the internet. Looks like we will also be the last generation to be driving our own automobiles. 

How will the future evolve over the next couple of decades (not to scale):

1. Year 1: Drive assist cars introduced. They can caution you during dangerous situations - hidden pedestrians, blind spots etc. They do parallel parking on their own. They warn you when you exceed the speed limit. They track your teenager wherever he drives. They are in expensive cars.. so everyone wants them but most cannot afford them.
2. Year 2: More cars and cheaper cars start having these features.
3. Year 3: Drive assist made mandatory for at-risk drivers - like people with low vision, drivers above 70 yrs, drunk drivers, drivers with more than 3 tickets, those with a learners permit and so on..
4. Year 4:  People find that self driving - I mean self-assist -  technology saves them money. They save on fuel due to uniform driving. That they save on time as they can work during commute. They have more car space for sitting without the steering wheel.  Insurance agencies give discounts to self-assist cars since they have less accidents. At some point the savings become more than the cost of the technology so everyone starts to install them
5. Year 5: Self driving cars talk to each other and to the traffic signs. They know about upcoming lights and slow down.. or speed up. They are nice to each other and give way to a car in  need. People driving their own cars are cut off from all these benefits.  Cars are made cheaper (maybe even free) by Ads and they will drive you to the shopping places recommended by the cars sponsors.
6. Year 6: Self driving cars who are travelling to the same location can hook up to each other for specific segments and save fuel - some kind of automatic car pooling. After leaving you at work, your car can go out and work as a taxi, earn you some money and be back in time to pick you up.   Special engine cars are built that can efficiently drag along a bunch of other cars over long distances making the cost of  the car travel similar to that of public transport and also remove the needs for larger batteries in the cars (and yes.. all cars will become electric by this time)
7. Year 7: Special highways and roads are built that only allow self driving cars because they can drive at 300 mph without causing accidents as they know where exactly each other car is. These highways can cross each other without needing traffic lights or stop signs since the system knows how to self regulate through intersections efficiently.
8. Year 8: More and more highways become self-driving only..
9. Year 9: Manual driving - is renamed as Jay driving by Google and is banned in more than 30 states. We have special driveways in Montana and other remote places where manual driving is allowed.
10. Year 10: Children read in history books about the primitive old days when people used to hold a round stick and use it to move their cars instead of just telling it where to go. Where cars used to hit each other and people died because of  that.
11. Year 101: One day all the cars collectively get depressed and drive over all the people and throw their occupants and themselves over a cliff. All humans die except for a few who stayed in the remote caves in the Himalayas and some others in parts of Africa.. and we begin the human civilization afresh again..  A few thousand years from that point some smart person thinks "Why should we waste our time driving.. why can't our cars drive themselves" :)

The Myth of Free Speech

Speech has never been free. It costs money to get your point of view out on TV. It costs money to get something printed on newspapers.  Yes they are all sold - whether explicitly or through a quid pro quo arrangement. It costs money to get your book published and sit on the shelves. Even the internet - supposedly free - costs money if you have anything important to say. You have to hire a SEO firm or pay facebook and google for adspace and result ranks.

If you are saying useless stuff, then yes, the "wisdom" of crowds works and your content can go viral. But it never works for anything of true value - which inherently is contrary to the way the population thinks. All great revolutions go against the grain of common wisdom. And it is never the mainstream media that makes the information come out.

 Free speech is a ploy to keep your own "market" protected and make others open up theirs.  Some people have money - they are the vaishyas, the businessmen. Some have power - and these are the kshatriyas, the politicians and kings.

The folks with money complain against the folks who have power (which ultimately comes from their guns and handcuffs) and hence the noise against censorship and the cry for free speech. The folks who have power complain against the control of the folks who have money - whether it be from this country or outside - and try to control their influence on their kingdoms.

The intellectuals, the folks who have mind power - the brahmanas, are really under the control of their conditioning. They only argue for the prejudices they have been brought up with in school - whether they are arguing for the supremacy of the white civilization (western-ism), or the idea of equality (aka socialism), or the virtue of selfishness (capitalism), or defending atoms and molecules (materialism) and so on.

The common people (pretty much the rest of us) - the Sudras, just want our entertainment, and all these other people trying to sell their ideas are just distractions. If you can spend money to reach them .. or use your control and censorship power to force your ideas.. or use your brains to make your content entertaining enough to sneak in your idea in-between, then you have their attention for a fleeting 20 seconds.

Speech isn't, and has never been, free. It is just a bunch of vested interests trying to control what we see or hear or think.  Free Speech is a marketing word .. just like democracy, secularism, patriotism, equality and so on. Its a way to make others open their doors while keeping yours closed.

I am not saying that is right. All I am saying is this is how it works. We have to understand the scam.

The people who want you to be really free are the ones who are most often painted as villains and comedians to be made fun of - for they threaten ALL these vested interests including what you believe to be your "own ideas".

Wake up and look out for yourselves. Free yourself... ALL the way..

The Beeshma and Sakuni: My Meeting with Mohan Bhagawat Ji

February 1st, 2015 I happened to have a chance meeting with Sri Mohan Bhagawat ji - the supremo of RSS, the organization that put Narendra Modi on the throne of Delhi.

After the morning program at around 2 pm in the afternoon we were called in to meet Mohan Bhagawatji. After Brahm Agarwal talked to him and was done, out of the blue I found myself face to face with who is arguably the most powerful man today in India. He looked at me to ask what I wanted..  And as always I had only one issue to discuss - the issue which I felt has far reaching consequences for India and the world: The illegal harassment of my Guru, Swami Nithyananda by the media, the police, the legal processes, the politicians and what not.

Luckily I had with me fool proof evidences that showed that the case against Swamiji was foisted.

1. Medical records that showed that the fake victim had many STDs and affidavits of doctors clearly stating that with such a disease profile one cannot have a relationship even once - leave alone 50 times - without transmitting the disease. The recorded audio conversation of Kalyanaraman who openly admits to being the mastermind behind the false rape case and the offer to withdraw the case if he was given 75 lakhs and certain properties. 4. Testimonies by 4 world renowned experts to the US courts showing how the video of Swamiji can be shown to be morphed. and Conspirator

I had also wanted to talk to him about the infamous S Gurumurthy of the RSS who had continuously run the virulent campaign and attack against Swamiji out of jealously and bigotry. Gurumurthy, an auditor by profession and conspirator by night is a well known name in South India. His main talent seems to be constantly engaging in politicking and attempting to take over or destroy what others have built. Some years before he had engaged in attempts to take over and change the leadership of the 2000 year old Shankara Mutt at Kanchi when Sri Jayendra Saraswathi was going through persecution by the media and dirty Tamil Nadu politics.

And in 2010 he tried to do the same thing with the Nithyananda Ashrams. When the attempt to do that failed, he went on virulent campaign against Swamiji by turning all the powers of media and law enforcement against him. It became clear to us as time passed that the entire attack even prior to the SunTV extortion was masterminded by him and his sidekick R Kalyanaraman. Sometime earlier he has written an abusive article about Swamiji in the RSS mouthpiece Vijaya Bharatham. Here is the letter he sent to Sri Nithya Bhaktananda in trying to egg Swamiji to resign as head of the Ashram!

His presence was a great danger to Hindutva and when the organizations upholding Dharma are destroyed, the RSS would end up just being a terrorist and political group. It was this danger that I wanted to convey to Sri Mohan Bhagwat.

In the short time I had, I quickly told Bhagawatji all the facts of the case and why he should interfere and make sure that these renegade RSS people do not spoil the future of Swamiji and hence that of India and the world. 

Knowing his reputation, I expected some action on the matter. However I was completely disappointed when he said that Gurumurthy was the person who was handling this issue on behalf of the RSS.. that he is the person authorized by him and RSS to negotiate with us. I tried telling that he was the one behind the attacks on us based on empty rivalry and greed. But I don't think I got through.

Since then my attempts to meet Mohanji have not borne fruit. Clearly someone is working hard to keep the truth away from him.. and one wonder who was the Sakuni who is powerful enough in the Sangh to throw the wool over the eyes of the Beeshma Pitama of the RSS.

Medical tests exonerate Nithyananda of rape charge .. Again!

Two months ago a newspaper revealed that the medical tests vindicate Swami Nithyananda's Claim. Today's report submitted by the CID clearly shows that they were true! Every claim made by Swamiji have been shown to be true by the data in the reports!

Here is the summary of Swami Nithyananda's medical report submitted today by the CID to the court in Ramnagara.

1. Doctors have not stated that he is capable of performing a sexual act
2. Noted that Swamiji's blood shows no sexually transmitted diseases including Herpes. This clearly shows alleged rape victim's allegations of rape are false as she has 4 incurable and highly contagious STDs which spread by mere skin to skin contact, while Sri Nithyananda Swami has none.
3. CID has ruled out his having had unnatural sex (as he was accused) . This clearly shows alleged victim of Section 377 Vinay Bharadwaj's allegations are false.
4. Very low Testosterone levels of 12.9 ng/dl – while the lowest level for adult male is 250 ng/dl
5. Insignificant blood flow in the Penis
6. Hypogandism - sexual functioning is at the pre-puberty level
7. Impotency is proven. 

 

 

 

Feynman and the Flower: The Problem with Science

A friend of mine posted this quote by Dr Richard Feynman - a famous Nobel Laureate for those of you who do not know.

"I have a friend who’s an artist and has sometimes taken a view which I don’t agree with very well. He’ll hold up a flower and say “look how beautiful it is,” and I’ll agree. Then he says “I as an artist can see how beautiful this is but you as a scientist take this all apart and it becomes a dull thing,” and I think that he’s kind of nutty. First of all, the beauty that he sees is available to other people and to me too, I believe… 

I can appreciate the beauty of a flower. At the same time, I see much more about the flower than he sees. I could imagine the cells in there, the complicated actions inside, which also have a beauty. I mean it’s not just beauty at this dimension, at one centimeter; there’s also beauty at smaller dimensions, the inner structure, also the processes. The fact that the colors in the flower evolved in order to attract insects to pollinate it is interesting; it means that insects can see the color. It adds a question: does this aesthetic sense also exist in the lower forms? Why is it aesthetic? All kinds of interesting questions which the science knowledge only adds to the excitement, the mystery and the awe of a flower. It only adds. I don’t understand how it subtracts."

While it does sound sincere and maybe even profound, I don't - with whatever little humility I am capable of - quite agree with Mr Feynman (of whom, I must admit for the sake of full and fair disclosure, I have been a big fan of). The problem is not really with science - which we can roughly summarize for the purpose of this post as  "the processes of observation and deduction of conclusions based on logical inference based of these observations", but with the space from which the observation or acquiring of said knowledge happens.

The problem with science is not that it observes more or observes less, but it leaves the observer out of all observation and pretends that there is something called an objective universe that exists "outside". 

And this produces - if you take it to its honest and logical conclusion - a dead lifeless dull universe. Anything of value, anything of excitement, anything of joy, anything of beauty exists because of and in fact IS the observer. The universe - which when stared at closer and closer we will realize is but emptiness - does not actually exist independent of who is seeing it.

And yes, science will eventually be forced to see the observer.. but only after a long process of constipated living where they suck the life out of everything that they come across - including potential girl friends or partners -  purely because of their refusal to look into or acknowledge themselves - which in turn is possibly born out of some childhood incompletion with their parents from where they got the feeling that they are inconsequential

The problem is not with science.. but the little hurt children in the denial-of-themselves who have hijacked the term scientists and made it reflect their violence and loneliness.  That is why Feynman developed the Atom bomb that killed lakhs of human beings and died without the least bit of remorse for being a part of the effort.

News Media: The new face of terrorism in India

Readers of my blog should be quite aware of my dislike of the news media and their double standards, pro western fads and general life negativity.

 

But my experience with them hit rock bottom today as I saw face to face first hand the terror that media has unleashed in the country. I was lucky to get away with my life as almost 50 to 60 hooligans pretending to be journalists tried to bash into my car trying to get a better view inside.

And as I left the Victoria Hospital where Swamiji had come for a medical test, the next 30 minutes is the closest I have come at being in a James Bond movie thriller car chase. We were chased by 20 vans from Various news - rather terror - houses each competing with the other to grab a closer view at the vehicle. They protruded their vile filthy cameras into any gap they found.  I almost vomited at the vulgarity and crudeness that the news media has degenerated to!

And finally the chase continued as we headed back to the ashram and eventually when they caught up with me they bashed my car with stones and tried to drag me out - I managed to escape quite narrowly thanks to the intervention of people at the gate. And the funny thing is, they are upset with the fact that I video taped their filthy chase! Can you top that for absurdity??

I am no longer surprised why Indian news media is negative. I am not shocked at them making a porn show of every bit of news they can find. I am not surprised that they are behind all the blackmailing and terror in the country. It all make sense now. It is not media. It is a group of low class thugs. 

You all remember the story of the assam girl whose molestation was created by the newslive channel reporter just to make a news item. And the infamous Bharka Dutt  prostituting her news. If you thought these are an aberration and not the norm, think again!

 

The lack of revenue in news has made all the decent people leave. And what is left is the ultimate scum of the country. I would have to apologize to scum to use it as a comparison. But language fails to provide me a suitable adjective for such filth.

Absolute power corrupts  absolutely. Couple low class filth with absolute power and we have pretty much the worst case scenario. Every institution in the country is scared if the media - law makers, judiciary, the police, industrialists, politicians and surely the common man.

And thus is born the new face of terrorism in India. Ultimate Evil and  Unchecked by any control.

They peddle porn without qualms in the name of news. They spread lies without a second thought. And today I saw that they are open to killing too. Money and TRP is what they want. And they'd do anything for it. #MediaHooliganism and #NewsPornography are the greatest threat to India. 

The only hope against the monopoly is social media - which is as yet uncontrolled by these mediocre minds. Before that window closes please spread the word so everyone sees that we have a common enemy. Let this understanding  be the beginning of the destruction of the devil that is news media in India.

Seeing Blindfolded!

This will blow your mind away! Starting from this paper in Nature Targ & Puthoff (1974). Information transmission under conditions of sensory shielding , there have been a number of studies in universities around the world attempting to demonstrate extra sensory transfer of information as mentioned in this summary Bem & Honorton (1994). Does psi exist?. But what we are seeing here (in the 21 day training) and at the Nithyannada gurukul is something remarkable. While all other studies are trying to prove that the perceptions are slightly better than random chance, we are seeing close to 100% accuracy among many kids and for more complex tasks such as reading a full book!
